About

I suppose it’s about time I actually wrote something here!

First, a list of the subjects I intend to blog about on each day of the week, in an attempt both to give this blurry blog more focus and to make it a bit easier for me to think what to write about:

Mondays – writing, because it is the first day of the week and I usually have to write my thesis, although I may also write about other kinds of writing, whether it is blogging, novel writing, poems or some other kind of writing.

Tuesdays – health. I have arthritis, so it might be about that, or about trying to lose weight when you can’t do a lot of exercise, or maybe about healthy eating.

Wednesdays – Random Ramblings.

Thursdays – being a Runologist, because it’s fun! And obscure.

Fridays – outings, either ones I’ve been on recently or to feature a cool place to visit. Or hobbies.

Saturdays – Disorganisation and how (not) to cure it, because I am not organised enough and trying to improve. I have the typical problems of the creative type. I might write about my struggle with tidiness, or tips that help me and just might help you, or beg for tips from my readers… :)

Sundays – my journey with God. Maybe it’s too predictable to have this on Sundays, God is for life, not just for Sunday, but I had to start somewhere.

OK, that’s enough for now, I’ll add some more some time. Probably.

Edit: as you may have noticed, this schedule went to pot. I still blog on these subjects, just maybe not on these days. Sorry. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Didn’t work out!

    Hello, Knotrune!

Because you’re one of my favorite bloggers — and favorite online friends — I’m very pleased to award you the Versatile Blogger Award.

I’m not sure what the award means, exactly, but it seemed like a fitting way to recognize folks like you who make the Internet a better place.

To learn more, visit me at http://hmunro.wordpress.com/2011/10/08/the-versatile-blogger-award/ (There’s no need to follow the instructions for “claiming” your award, though; the honor is yours regardless.)

Thanks for your friendship, and keep up the great writing.

    Cheers!

Excellent advice on Elizabeth Harper’s nanorimo struggle post. Hello and glad to meet you.

What is your thesis on, or can you say in public?

    Best wishes, Mariellen
